Cloud computing has brought impressive advantages for clients wishing to use cloud services, such as flexibility in managing the space, automatic software updates, easier access to required information, etc. Yet, there is a complex problem regarding security of data in the cloud, which becomes more critical when the data in question is highly sensitive. The encryption of data at rest is considered to be one of the main issues related to security in cloud computing and especially in cloud storage. Although there is an increase in the usage of the cloud storage services, there is still a significant number of client organizations that lack sufficient trust in third party cloud providers to rely on the sole security they provide. One of the main approaches to overcome this problem is the encryption of data at rest, which comes with its own difficulties such as efficient key management, access permissions, and similar factors. We propose a new approach to security that will be controlled by the IT security specialist (ITSS) of the company i.e. the file owner. The approach is based on multiple strategies of file encryption, partitioning, and distribution among multiple storage providers, resulting in increased confidentiality since a supposed attacker will need to first obtain parts of a file from different storage providers, know how to combine them, before any decryption attempt. We also show how the proposed approach compares to different enterprise-wide encryption strategies. All details of the strategy used for a particular file are stored on a separate file, which can be considered as a master key for the file contents. Also, we present each strategy with the results and comments related to the completed measurements.

Link for e-copy: https://repository.seeu.edu.mk/sites/thesis/ThesisSharedDocs/DR_111752.pdf Record link: https://library.seeu.edu.mk/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=17940 Copies

The 2008 Crisis has left a large amount of Europe in political and economic shock. Large parts of the electorate in many countries have once again started participating in elections and have begun upending the status quo. Political parties that have dominated their respected political systems for decades are now facing significant competition and are struggling to have their political messages heard. The 2008 Crisis has significantly contributed to the radicalization of the political sphere and the rise of extreme movements throughout the member-states of the European Union. The primary goal of the qualitative framework of the disertation will be to provide relevant theoretical arguments that will test the primary research hypothesis, which is: what is causing structural instability in the political system of EU member-states? These theoretical hypotheses will then be tested out in an empiric framework, by implementing both a standard Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression, conducting an analysis of a survey conducted in the Republic of Croatia, and by using Chow’s test for a structural break. The thesis aims to provide a theoretic contribution to the arguments considering the strong shift in electoral preferences in numerous member-states of the European Union, as well as explain numerous other political structural abnormalities, such as the decision of the United Kingdom to leave the European Union. It will further contribute to the existing literature by devising regression models that will be able to predict the outcome of the election for several key political parties. The key findings of the paper concerning the validity of the voting models confirm the overall relevance of proxy variables that account for political popularity. The use of lags of election results as political proxy variables is not consistent throughout the considered models. Additionally, the dissertation identifies relevant ARIMA models to forecast the results of the German Bundestag Elections for the CDU/CSU, SPD and FDP. There is a clear crisis of left-centred political parties in Europe as it is clear that populist and extremely right-winged political parties are capitalizing on a similar set of economic domestic policies. The paper finds that a reiterated focus on social and economic domestic policies, as supported by the survey results for Croatia, is necessary to ensure these parties do not become electorally insignificant. Key words: European Union, structural abnormalities, populism Brexit, political radicalization.Link for e-copy: https://repository.seeu.edu.mk/sites/thesis/ThesisSharedDocs/DR_126970.pdf Record link: https://library.seeu.edu.mk/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=18815 Copies

In this research work, the impacts of instruction method using hardware control such as robotics in learning programming languages will be examined. We particularly aim to discover the differences between the Practical teaching / learning pedagogy with Robotics and classic learning methods. The technological improvements have changed many aspects of our life-style. Almost everything turned upside-down by the software, which also controls robots. This amazing changes on technological improvements also make us believe some science fiction movies in which we have seen the technology at the top of its level, such as scenes with robots which act like a human being. We see that today technology is not far away from these scenes. A lot of companies are on the search of making a better robot which will serve for the human being. There is a question remaining in our heads. Why don't we integrate this robotics curricula into our school lessons? We found it very powerful to teach students programming languages. This research work aims to find out how students gain knowledge involving in robotics instruction method and learning programing languages with robotics tools. Teaching programming language via hardware control such as robotics is very popular at this time and will be in the future. We expect this will help students learn programming language with great eagerness by dint of very popular technology ‘robotics’. This study also aims to make a small contribution to the education in Macedonia. The second aim of this study is to inform computer science teachers about how much their instruction methods based on robotics affect the outcome of their class. We expect that this study will have positive effects to the field of computer science education. The computer science class is ifferent from other classes. Computer science teachers have to use new educational methods because of continuously improving technology. All the world is getting instant information on what’s new in technology via social media. Computer science teachers should take the first step to introduce the news to their students in a practical way. It is the way to help students see the changes on technology in your class.Link for e-copy: https://repository.seeu.edu.mk/sites/thesis/ThesisSharedDocs/MA_126742.pdf Record link: https://library.seeu.edu.mk/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=18845 Copies

This thesis is mainly focused on investigating the difficulties experienced in ICT lesson, especially while teaching theoretical topics. As it is known, in some theory courses, students can be bored, and it is difficult to attract their attention. To prevent these concentration losses, what teachers need to do is to make the lessons more enjoyable. One way to make lessons more fun is to use gamification. Different topics can be explained more effectively through different games. These games can be played on a computer or in a classroom environment. The main objectives of this thesis are to analyze the direct impact that gamification has in increasing students’ motivation as well as exploring the most suitable games that could be later recommended to the teachers for future uses. Academically, on the other hand, the results derived from this paper will help teachers to have a clearer view regarding the use of games in their classrooms as well as future researchers who may get this study in national level. Regarding the methodology, two different methods have been used: descriptive and empirical methods, with the latter consisting of both qualitative and quantitative methods – mainly tests and questionnaires.

A high quality interactive management system that impacts pupils’ growth is considered to be a qualitative school. Among many ways of doing this the following suggestions could be listed: using an innovative digital interactive learning platform in the teaching and learning process to support innovation around digitalization in the high school education process, creating an alternative community of professors at the same time to enhance the challenges of the teaching profession promoting quality pedagogical interaction or collaboration or the creation of prospective pupils at different educational levels through the digital website www.elitaasani.com. The use of phones and the internet has mobilized technological conditions for communication, collaboration and exchange of ideas. Integrating online services into teaching practices can be really helpful for thematic, social and digital improvements of professors and pupils. Integrating a digital online experience to enhance learning, pupils’ motivation and incorporation of an alternative active management system which aims to facilitate , solve learning problems, encourage pupils’ personalization and build confidence, while opening an eclectic installation to learn and act quickly wherever and whenever they need it. For a progressive high school institution, rapid dissemination of information is required in order to build pupil-specific innovative skills through an active digital communication system, digital advancements, whereby improved educational qualifications create a modern network, and become part of the world education industry. Incorporating this data analysis into educational strategy modules, and projections of interactive management systems that were developed sustainably through the use of the platform as an innovative digital education technology among pupils and professors that impact improvement, enhancing the educational process and regulating the teacher - caring relationships as a way to solve various problems and make the right decision. In general, components of learning management systems include synchronization and asynchronous tools, management features, and evaluation services. These assessment services enable lecturers to regulate their basic assessment tasks. Assessments can be sent immediately to the pupil and upon completion, they are promptly returned with grades and detailed information. Therefore, learning management systems can also be used for various educational purposes. The course structure is explained by the context of researching study components, choosing the effective study path and flexibility. Second, the theoretical framework provides us with the information on how to use the key findings for course development, description of the alternative course through interactive study methods and the innovative model included in a course (quantitative and qualitative studies). This study includes digital research on the educational process management system through courses. The research further collects and analyzes data on recognition and awareness of platform adoption, school networking and innovation created by high school professors and pupils at the Tetovo Gymnasium in Northern Macedonia.
