| Class number: | 330.05 | Abstract: | This volume contains the papers presented at the 4th International Scientific Conference on Business and Information Technologies ISCBIT 2020, held on September 17-18, 2020 in Skopje/Tetovo, North Macedonia. Last year's conference was themed on globalization and integration processes to stress the importance of NATO and EU integration. This year's theme was supposed to be on Globalization 4.0 to mark the opportunities for North Macedonia. However, these turbulent times determined the theme itself with most of the papers having the keyword "COVID19". The conference was opened and moderated by Asst. Prof. Blerta Abazi Chaushi. Our first speaker was the Rector of the South East European University, Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti, the host of this conference, who addressed the audience with interesting remarks and marked the conference open. This year we had the honor to have two ministers from the government of North Macedonia as speakers. The Minister of Finance, Prof.Fatmir Besimi, discussed the economic challenges that the pandemic has brought to the economy, and the Minister of Economy, Mr. Kreshnik Bekteshi, discussed the three stimulus measures to support the economy and announced the fourth package for the last quarter of 2020. Next speaker we had the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Ass. Prof. Hyrije Abazi-Alili who provided a birds view on the assessment of the COVID-19 effects on the economy. And last speaker for the first session, was the Dean of the Faculty of Contemporary Sciences and Technologies, Ass. Prof. Adrian Besimi who discussed some of the challenges of information technologies during COVID-19 pandemic. The ISCBIT conference has grown and continues to evolve. With the pandemics being such a big burden to many scholars, this conference still attracted a great number of submissions. We had around 40 presentations, and the committee decided to accept 22 submissions for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
