The focus of this research is to look at the importance of using authentic materials in the EFL classroom and how teachers choose these teaching materials. The reason for investigating this topic is to help clarify questions revolving around what book teachers and readers should choose, where they should focus their attention and finally what to look for when selecting teaching materials. The use of authentic materials in the EFL classroom has been a hot topic of discussion among teachers inrecent years. Teachers need to make a decision regarding appropriate instructional materials and in what teaching situations to use them. An important issue to discuss is how teachers choose authentic materials and which text books are most appropriate for students based on their level of English. This study deals with other roles in relation with the use of materials and will focus on: At which level should authentic materials be used? Can English be learnt more efficiently through tasks and activities? Can English be taught without a textbook? When and how should authentic materials be used in EFL classrooms, and how should culturale content be included in the curriculum? How can CALL be included in the use of authentic materials? There are several points to be considered when choosing authentic materialswhich will also be analyzed in this paper, including which is the appropriate textbook to be used.
Abstrakt
Ky hulumtim ka per qellim te sqaroje rendesine e perdorimit te materialseve autentike ne oren e gjuhes angleze si gjuhe e huaj, dhe si mesimdhenesit zgjedhin materialset per ti mesuar nxenesit e tyre. Hulumtimi ne kete teme eshte motivimi dhe qartesimi i dyshimeve kur mesimdhenesit dhe lexuesit zgjedhin librat e tyre, ne cilen pike me shume do fokusohen, cka te kerkojme dhe cfar materialse per mesimdhenie te perodrin. Me vite te tera eshte diskutuar nga mesuesit perdorimi i materialseve ne oren e gjuhes angleze ;i gjuhe e huaj. Mesimdhenesit duhet te marrin nje vendim adekuat per librat dhe ne cilen situate :e mesimdhenies te perdoret ceshtja kryesore eshte se si mesimdhenesit zgjedhin materialset dhe filat libra jane me te pershtatcme per nxenesit ne konsiderate me nivelin e tyre ne gjuhen angleze. Ky studim do te shtjelloje edhe rolin e perdorimit te materialseve dhe dot te fokusohet ne: ne lin nivel cilat materialse adekuate do te perdoren? A mundet gjuha angleze te mesohet epermjet aktiviteteve dhe ushtrimeve? A mund te ligjerojme gjuhe angleze pa libra? Kur dhe si do :e perdoren materialset adekuate ne oren e gjuhes angleze si gjuhe e huaj dhe se si mund te lerfshihet kultura ne planin mesimore
Абстракт
Овој научен труд има за цел да појасни важноста на употребата на адекватната литература (книги) на часот по англиски јазик како странски втор јазик, и како наставниците да извршат избор на литература за подобро да ги учат учевниците. Целта на овој научен труд е мотивацијата, појаснувањето и дилемата, кога наставниците заедно со читателите да вршат избор на литература во која точка повеке да се фокусират, што да барат, и кои материалси да им се даде на употреба. Повеке години е дискутирано од страна на наставниците за употреба на учебвниците во часот по англиски јазик како втор странски јазик. Наставниците треба да завземат адекватен став за учебвниците и во кој момент предавањето за време на часот, кој материалс и кој учевник е нај адекватен за учениците за нивото на познавање на англискиот јазик. Со овој научен труд ќе се разработуви и улогата за употребата на материалсите со посебен осврт во кој момент кој материалс и во кое ниво треба да се употреби. Дали може англискиот јазик да се учи со вежби и разни активности? Дали може англискиот јазик да се предава без учевници?
