Abstract: | The 2010 edition of the People-Centred Analyses is the third in an annual series which started in 2008. The aim of the People-Centred Analyses reports is to focus policy attention on the quality of life and social inclusion, and on inter-ethnic relations; all from the viewpoint of the women and men themselves. The 20O8 and 2009 editions focused on social inclusion disparities and regional development respectively. This, the third edition, continues to follow the trends in the quality of life indicators which were initiated in the previous editions of the People Centered Analyses and has as its particular focus the quality of social services. The report is based on the findings of a questionnaire based survey of 1,000 respondents across the country carried out end of August 2010 which was carried out by the South East European University (SEEU) with financial support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to the SEEU. As such, the process of preparing the report contributes towards the goals of strengthening national capacities to analyse and address issues of social inclusion, inequalities and citizens' participation. |
