| Class number: | 341.1714 | Abstract: | The Pan-European movement and ideas received a wider spread after the First World War. Kudenov Kalerg (Richard de Coudenhave - Kalergi), not only for his origin (born of a mixed marriage, Dutch father, Japanese mother), from various European citizenships that took over his life, but also of ideas and movement that he led, he became one of the most famous disciples of the establishment of the United States of Europe in the first half of the twentieth century. In 1923 he published a book titled "Pan-Europe" which echoed and created the pan-European Union with headquarters in Vienna and national sections in many European countries. He thought of e pan-Europe as of a regional organization of the League of Nations, a council composed of delegates from the member states, a delegation from the neighbor states, an Assembly delegated by national parliaments and a Court of Justice. In the 20s for the United States to Europe appeared many ideas and interesting books were wTote by various political and intellectual elite representatives. The French were the ones who more liked and had ambitions of the idea of the European Union, to refine and develop it further. It was widely covered in the magazine "New Europe" which was published by a woman, who would make a great name in the twentieth century as a pioneer of the United Europe, Luiz Ueis. This magazine became an interpreter of the thought and the new European politics of the two French prime Ministers of the second half of the 20s, Brian&Heriot'.In September 1929, Brian will reveal his project of the European unification in the session of the League of Nations in Geneva. Brian said that "among the people who are geographically grouped as at those of Europe, there should exist to some federal connection. These people should have the opportunity, at every moment to be in touch, to discuss their interests, undertake united solutions, to establish between them a solidary relation that will make them possible to face, in the right moment difficult circumstances.2The Initiative of Brian vitalized the debate in the League of Nations and outside it about forms of European cooperation.
