Kjo temë që do të duhej, sipas të gjitha rregullave, të ishte ekskluzivisht çështje bilaterale Kosovë-Mali i Zi, është shndërruar në temë të diskutimeve dhe ndërhyrjeve të shteteve të treta dhe të përfaqësuesve të Bashkimit Evropian, të cilët bëjnë çmos që t'ia imponojnë Kosovës një marrëveshje për demarkacionin e kufirit me Malin e Zi, e cila i cenon rëndë interesat strategjike dhe ekonomike të Kosovës.
