Political ideologyClass number: 320.5 Abstract: Qëllimi i këtij studimi është që të argumentoj se politika është e lidhur pashmangëshmërisht me ideologjinë, në një konceptim neutral të ideologjisë, çka do të thotë se ideologjia është së pari një sistem besimi që nuk mund të jetë privat ose personal, por ndahet në mënyrë sociale midis anëtarëve të një shoqërie. Ideologjtë nuk janë detyrimisht negative, ndërgjegje të rreme dhe nuk janë detyrimisht dominante e nuk janë e njëjta gjë me praktika të tjera si diskursi që i riprodhon dhe i shfaq ato. Ideologjitë janë sisteme besimi të cilat kanë funksione specifike për shoqërinë. Kështu, për aq kohë sa ajo që konsiderohet si politike do të lidhet me mosmarrëveshjet dhe konsensusin mbi vlerat e ndryshme, do të duhet t'u referohet ideologjive në mënyrë që të përballet me çka është e mirë apo e keqe, e dëshirueshme apo më pak e dëshirueshme, produktive apo më pak produktive e kështu me rradhë.
