Microsoft .NET Framework
Web site developmentClass number: 005.2 Abstract: A guide to the features and functions of ASP.NET 3.5, covering such topics as modules and handlers, providers, configuration, page and session management, security, site management, and control extensibility. ASP.NET's model for supporting language extensibility is intriguing to developers everywhere. With support for traditional, statically compiled languages like C# as well as dynamic languages like Python, ASP.NET now has a natural ability to support languages that developers want to work with, not ones they are forced to use. ASP.NET is quickly becoming an attractive place for today's dynamic languages. Pro ASP.NET Extensibility gives readers in-depth insight into the language model within ASP.NET, going beyond the introductory treatment of the topic available elsewhere, providing lots of practical tips and tricks from an experienced developer. Learn about the extensibility and runtime models available with both .NET 3.5 and 4.0, Windows Server 2003 and 2008, and Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 and 7.0. The book explains not only how things work, but also why. Using Joerg Krause's experienced advice and sound tricks, you'll be able to go further with your very own language projects and transform your .NET development on your own terms-made possible with ASP.NET's popular extensibility model. Contents note: Understanding ASP.NET; Worker and Threads; Modules and Handlers; Providers and Configuration; Extending the Resource Model; Page and Session Management; Security and User Management; Site Management; Control Extensibility; Record link: https://library.seeu.edu.mk/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=17245 Hold

Web site development
Web sites - DesignClass number: 005.276 Abstract: Some aspects of the ASP>NET Core story remind me of the beginning of the ASP.NET adventure more than 15 years ago. A very young Scott Guthrie—now a Microsoft VP-presented a new thing called ASP+ to a small audience of web developers in London in the fall of 1999. Those were the days of Active Server Pages, and ASP+ was trying to introduce a new syntax for moving the VBScript code back to the server and express it through a compiled language. ASP+ was a real breakthrough.
At the time of the presentation, there was no public awareness of the .NET thing yet, which would not be publicly disclosed until the following summer. The demos Scott showed, including ajaw-dropping Web Service example, were coming out of a stand —alone runtime environment based on a custom worker process—a console application—capable of listening on the port 80. The first demos used plain Visual Basic and C++ code against the Win32 API. In a short time, the whole ASP+ thing was quickly consumed by the new .NET Framework and eventually became ASP.NET.Contents note: Why Another ASP.NET?; The First ASP.NET Core Project; Bootstrapping; ASP.NET MVC Controllers; ASP.NET MVC Views; The Razor Syntax; Design Considerations; Securing the Application; Access to Application Data; Designing a Web API; Posting Data from the Client Side; Client-side Data Binding; Building Device-friendly Views; The ASP.NET Core Runtime Environment; Deploying an ASP.NET Core Application; Migration and Adoption Strategies; Index; Record link: https://library.seeu.edu.mk/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=19522 Hold
