Përparësitë, si duket, janë ato që shpresojmë se do ti arrijmë: lexuesit thonë se libri paraqet udhëheqës të shterur “prej A-së deri në Sh” për planifikimin dhe mbajtjen e ushtrimeve, përplot me ushtrime të dobishme dhe propozime praktike. Libri është fryt I miqësisë, kureshtjes, shqetësimit dhe ndërlikueshmërisë. Ne të dy u miqësuam derisa ishim student në Univesitetin “Sent Tomas” në Sent Poll, Minesota. Ndjenjat tona të përbashkëta për shumë gjëra na e ushqente miqësinë – filmat e Vudi Alenit kishin rol kryesor në bisedimet tona në fillim – por gjithmonë i bëjmë vështrim gëzimit, por përvojë kundërthënëse me mësim përmes diskutimit. Edhe në kafene, dhe në shtëpi dhe nëpër korridoret e universitetit, edhe në rrugë, me orë të tëra kemi kremtuar pa parashikimin madhështor të diskutimit dhe hulumtuam qëllimin dhe vlerën e tij. Rëndom, bisedimet na përfundonin me atë që midis vete kemi dhënë këshilla për problemet me të cilat u ballafaquam me rastin e aplikimit praktik të kësaj metode.
