Deciding about making a research for my MA thesis made me think deeper and decide to make it on Communicative Textbook analysis in a private school in Gjilan (Kosovo). We decided to make the research on this topic because making learners communicate in English language is something that gives life to your effort to teach them the language. The participants of this study will be students of my group who have used the Cutting Edge Pre-lntermediate textbooks; they will be observed and will answer a questionnaire that will be answered by some other students who worked with these books earlier. Also some teachers that work at Oxford Studio, Gjilan and have used these textbooks will be asked to answer to a questionnaire with opened questions and will tell us their approach toward these textbooks. Learners and teachers will show their opinions on these books and their parts of communication. In order to have another view and approach to these books, they will be analyzed through the special textbook checklist and see specifically what do these books offer. The research will give us a conclusion about the impor¬tance of communication in the classroom, usage of different tools like books, videos, recordings in order to encourage communication. This conclusion will help future teachers to choose the books that they will use, based on this research they will know better where to focus, which parts of the books will be more helpful and on which parts they should put more effort and should pay attention more.
Abstrakt
jke vendosur që të bëj një kërkim për temën time të masterit u thellova dhe më tepër osa që atë ta bëj në analizën e pjesëve komunikative në tekstet e një shkolle private në >sovë). Vendosëm që të bëjmë kërkimin në këtë temë sepse shtyrja e nxënësve që të ijnë në gjuhën angleze është dicka që i jep jetë mundit për të ua mësuar nxënësve igleze. Pjesmarrësit e këtij kërkimi do të jenë nxënësit e grupit tim të cilët kanë përdo-Cutting Edge Pre-intermediate, ata do të vëzhgohen dhe do të i përgjigjen një pytësorit të i përgjigjen edhe disa nxënës të cilët kanë punuar me këto libra më herët. Gjithashtu mdhënësve të cilët punojnë në Oxford Studio, Gjilan dhe të cilët i kanë përdorur këto ë u kërkohet që të përgjigjen në një pytësor me pyetje të hapura dhe do të na e tre-jen e tyre ndaj këtyre librave. Nxënësit dhe mësimdhënësit do të tregojnë mendimin e (ëto libra dhe për pjesët komunikative të tyre. Në mënyre që të kemi një pamje dhe ërtë këtyre librave, ato do të analizohen përmes një liste-kontrolluese të vecantë dhe n në vecanti se qfarë ofrojnë këto libra. Kerkimi do të na e jap një përfundim për e komunikimit në klasë, përdorimin e mjeteve të ndryshme si librat, videot, incizimet 'ë që të nxisim komunikimin. Over the years, it has been imperative to provide and develop an adequate guide for the correct assessment of the English language. Not only Kosovo but also other countries in the region and beyond in where, the English language is taught as a foreign language have had traditional ways of assessing English language learning and teaching, these traditional forms which, have not been adequate and useful for many reasons! Through adequate assessment strategies, students are definitely ready to explore the Internet and find, read and understand the necessary English language materials related to the needs of their daily lives, but also to be in the process of becoming of increasingly globalized world, which will absolutely help them expand knowledge in their field of study in the future and will also keep them up to date with the contemporary trends of the scientific language and keep it up with the world. In this research, the main focus was on providing the right and necessary guidance for the appropriate assessment methods in the primary schools "Gjon Serreqi" and "Aga Xhite" in Ferizaj. Our main research topic would be the correct identification of the problems in the forms and the current ways of assessing the students by the teachers and to highlight the differences in assessment in these two primary schools. In our research work, we chose to apply our study with elementary school students who attend 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grade, with a total number of 112 students. Through this research work we continue to follow the recommendations for future use and advancement of the ways and forms of assessment by the responsible English language teachers.

Ndër vite ka qenë imperativ të sigurohet dhe të zhvillohet një udhëzues adekuat për vlerësim të drejtë të gjuhës angleze. Jo vetëm tek ne në Kosovë por edhe në vendet e tjera të rajonit e më gjerë aty ku Gjuha Angleze mësohet si gjuhë e huaj ka pasur mënyra dhe forma tradicionale të vlerësimit të mësimnxënies së Gjuhës Angleze, forma këto tradicionale të cilat nuk janë treguar gjithaq të dobishme për shumë arsye! Nëpërmjet stategjive të vlerësimit adekuat nxënësit definitivisht do të jenë të gatshëm të hulumtojnë internetin dhe të gjejnë, të lexojnë, dhe kuptojnë drejtë materialet e nevojshme në gjuhën angleze të ndërlidhura me nevojat e përditshmërisë së tyre por edhe të jenë në hap me globalizimin gjithnjë e në rritje, gjë e cila absolutisht do t’u ndihmojë atyre të zgjerojnë njohuritë në fushat e tyre studimore në të ardhmen dhe gjithashtu në mënyrë të vazhdueshme do t’i mbajë ata në hap me trendet bashkëkohore të gjuhës shkencore dhe t’i mbajë në hap me botën. Në këtë hulumtim, ne do të jemi përqëndruar kryesisht në sigurimin e udhëzimeve të denja dhe të nevojshme për mënyrat e duhura te vlërësimit në shkollat fillore “Gjon Serreqi” dhe “Aga Xhite” në Ferizaj. Tema kryesore kërkimore e jona do të ishte, identifikimi i drejtë i problemeve në format apo mënyra e gjertanishme të vlerësimit të nxënësve nga ana e mësuesve dhe të vemë në pah dallimet në vlerësim në këto dy shkolla fillore. Në punën tonë kërkimore, ne zgjodhëm të zbatojmë studimin tonë me nxënësit e shkollave fillore të cilët vijojnë mësimin në klasën 6, 7, 8 dhe 9, me numër të përgjithshëm të nxënësve prej 112 sosh. Nëpërmjet kësaj pune kërkimore ne mëtojmë të përcjellim rekomandimet për përdorim dhe avancim të vazhdueshëm në të ardhmen të mënyrave dhe formave te vlëresimit nga ana e mësimdhënësve përgjegjës të gjuhës angleze. Grammar is considered the “sentence-making machine” of a language, and knowledge of grammar gives the learner the ability to create a countless number of original sentences. It is, furthermore, essential as it provides the basis for communicative competence in writing, speaking, reading, and listening. “Grammatical competence,” after all, is “one of communicative competence”. Current discussions in the field of second language grammar teaching, therefore, no longer centre on whether grammar should be taught or not, but rather on questions such as “How do we go about teaching grammar items in the most effective way?” This MA thesis is organized as follows. It first provides a brief overview of recent developments in the field of language teaching and goes on describing the methodology of this study, which attemptsto examine the effectiveness of deductive and inductive approach in teaching grammar. This current study was conducted at the Gymnasium "Kuvendi i Arberit" Ferizaj - Kosovo. It then answers the following research question through a data-driven approach: Is the deductive or inductive method the most effective grammar teaching method in the context of high school students learning English? The study results showed that the inductive method is the most convenient and easiest approachto learn the grammar of the English language. Gramatika konsiderohet si "makineria e bërjes së fjalive" të një gjuhe dhe njohuritë e gramatikës i japin nxënësit aftësinë për të krijuar një numër të panumërt të fjalive origjinale. Për më tepër, është thelbësore pasi siguron bazën për aftësitë komunikuese në të shkruar, të folur, lexuar dhe dëgjuar. "Kompetenca gramatikore", në fund të fundit, është "një nga kompetencat komunikuese". Diskutimet aktuale në fushën e mësimdhënies së gramatikës në gjuhën e dytë, pra, nuk përqendrohen më në atë se a duhet të mësohet gramatika apo jo, por më tepër në pyetje të tilla si "Si mund të shkojmë për të mësuar artikujt gramatikorë në mënyrën më efektive?" Kjo tezë është e organizuar si më poshtë. Së pari jep një përmbledhje të shkurtër të zhvillimeve të fundit në fushën e mësimdhënies së gjuhës dhe vazhdon për të përshkruar metodologjinë e këtij studimi, duke u përpjekur të shqyrtojë efektivitetin e udhëzimit deduktiv dhe induktiv. Ky studim aktual hulumtoi metodat aktuale të mësimdhënies së gramatikës angleze në Gjimnazin "Kuvendi i Arbërit" Ferizaj - Kosovë. Më pas ajo i përgjigjet pyetjes së mëposhtme kërkimore përmes një qasje të drejtuar nga të dhënat: A është metoda deduktive ose induktive më efektive ne mësimdhënien e gramatikës në kontekstin e nxënësve të shkollës së mesme që mësojnë anglisht? The purpose of this study is to understand and to see how the perceptions of teachers and students will be in interactive classroom tasks. The Thesis is a review of the relationships between teachers and students to define the teachers' perceptions as much as possible. Secondly, this research tries to understand teacher skills and methodology used in the classroom. Thirdly, it examined the difficult task of teachers in public education that is used today. Fourth, we will made an attempt to understand what role school leaders play in the development of teacher methodology used in interactive classroom tasks and how will be the result against students. Lastly, student achievement will be defined by the role of the teacher in the education. All of these variables were examined to determine if there was a connection or pattern to high or low student achievement based on teacher's methodology used. Generally, the Thesis examines the way teachers use to come up with a conclusion of the tasks that will be in the consideration during the classes. In the other side, we will prepare every student in order to understand the lectures that are given to them. Not every student understand the lectures, maybe cause of the methodology, technology or the way of how teacher transform the message to them. It is not an easy research, because you have to deal with the daily problems, such as: problems with using and understanding of technology, interpreting the clear message of interactive classroom tasks to students, Nowadays, we can see different problems in high schools, in Kosovo or even more. So, if we want to solve these problems we have to work hard and prepare our new generation with better technology and good information. We have to pass a lot of barriers and to fight in order to be more successful with our students. Today is our chance to teach the best manners of using the technology in order to have great generations. Keywords: Task, technology, methodology, classroom, teacher, student.
Përmbledhje
Qëllimi i këtij studimi është të kuptojmë dhe t'i shohim se si do të jenë përceptimet e mësuesve dhe nxënësve për detyrat interaktive në klasë. Së pari, kjo do të jetë një pasqyrë e marrdhënjeve mes mësuesve dhe nxënësve për të definuar përceptimet e mësuesve sa më shumë të jetë e mundur. Së dyti, në këtë punim do të provojmë të kuptojmë aftësitë dhe metodologjinë e mësuesit që e perdorë në klasë. Së treti, ky studim do të egzaminojë detyrat e vështira të mësuesve në edukimin publik që përdoret në kohën aktuale. Së katërti, do të tentojmë të kuptojmë se cfarë roli luajnë drejtuesit e shkollës në zhvillimin e teknologjisë që përdoret në detyrat interaktive në klasë, dhe të shohim se si do të jetë rezultati karshi studentëve. Së fundmi arritjet e studentëve do të veqohen nga roli i mësuesit në edukim. Të gjitha këto lloje janë testuar për të definuar nëse ka ndonjë lidhje të lartë ose te ultë të arritjeve të studentëve duke u bazuar në metodologjinë e përdorur nga mësuesi. Duke u bazuar në këtë temë do provojmë të testojmë mënyrën që e përdorin mësuesit për të ardhur me një përfundim të detyrave që do të jenë në konsideratë gjatë orëve të mësimit. Në anën tjetër, do të përgatisim cdo nxënës në mënyrë që të kuptoj ligjeratat që u janë dhënë atyre. Jo cdo student i kupton ligjeratat, ndoshta shkaku i teknologjisë, metodologjisë ose mënyres se si mësuesit i kumtojnë mesazhet atyre. Nuk është një studim i lehtë, sepse ju duhet të ballafaqoheni me probleme të përditshme, sic janë: problemet me përdorimin dhe të kuptuarit e teknologjisë, interpretimin e qartë të mesazhit tek studentet për detyrat interaktive që u janë dhënë në klasë. Në ditët e sotme, ne mund të shohim probleme te ndryshme në shkolla, në Kosovë e më gjerë. Kështu që nëse ne dëshirojmë të zgjedhim këto probleme duhet të punojmë shumë dhe të përgatisim gjeneratat e reja me teknologji më të mirë dhe me informime më të mira. Duhet të kalojmë shumë pengesa dhe të përpiqemi shumë në mënyrë që të kemi studentë sa më të suksesshëm. Sot është mundësia për t'i mësuar mënyrat më të mira të përdorimit të teknologjisë në mënyrë që të kemi gjenerata të arëta. Teaching practices refer to situations within the class including major aspects that are used by the teachers, starting from the relation of the teacher with the pupils to techniques and methods. Learning from the books gave us an idea of how things are explained theoretically, whereas practice and teaching from the books is a special form of taking action in the class while conducting the lecture. Using teaching practices, teachers use their methods of teaching to enhance student’s learning and also find the best and the easiest way to conclude their thoughts. The outcomes of teaching practices, which involve classroom interaction, have been included in this MA thesis. The pupils’ perception of instructions given by the teacher was crucial for further improvements. This research aimed to put theory into practice and use experimental practice with pupils with only one goal; to improve their interaction in the classroom. This research was conducted in the primary school “Selami Hallaçi” and secondary school Gymnasium “Zenel Hajdini”. The research included 235 pupils who were pre-tested before starting the research. The research instruments used were a student questionnaire conducted with pupils of the schools and a teacher interview involving teachers from both schools. It aimed to reveal opinions about their way of creating more activities and the result for pupils. Additionally, classroom observations were done related to pupils’ reactions and the atmosphere in the classroom during interaction and the best way for finding a solution to a problem or task. The results of this study showed that there are a lot of comparisons, but not a lot of similarities between primary and secondary school students. Praktikat e mësimdhënies i referohen situatave brenda klasës duke përfshirë aspektet kryesore që përdoren nga mësuesit, duke filluar nga marrëdhënia e mësuesit me nxënësit e deri te teknikat dhe metodat. Mësimi nga librat na dha një ide sesi shpjegohen gjërat teorikisht, ndërsa praktikimi dhe mësimi i tyre është një formë e veçantë e veprimeve në klasë gjatë zhvillimit të leksionit. Duke përdorur praktikat e mësimdhënies, mësuesit i përshtatën metodat e tyre të mësimdhënies duke përmirësuar të nxënit e nxënësve dhe gjithashtu gjetën mënyrën më të mirë dhe më të lehtë për të përfunduar mendimet e tyre. Rezultatet e praktikave të mësimdhënies të cilat përfshijnë ndërveprimin në klasë janë vendosur në këtë temë te Magjistratures në mënyrë specifike për standardin dhe nivelin e tyre të performancës për lexim, dëgjim, shkrim dhe të folur. Perceptimi i nxënësve ndaj udhëzimeve të dhëna nga mësuesi ishte vendimtar për përmirësime të mëtejshme. Ky hulumtim synonte të zbatonte teorinë në praktikë dhe të përdorte praktikën eksperimentale me nxënës me vetëm një qëllim; për të përmirësuar ndërveprimin e tyre në klasë. Ky hulumtim është realizuar në nxënësit e shkollave fillore “Selami Hallaçi” dhe gjimnazin e mesëm “Zenel Hajdini”. Hulumtimi përfshiu 235 nxënës të cilët ishin para-testuar para fillimit të kërkimit. Instrumentet kërkimore të përdorura ishin një pyetësor i studentëve i realizuar me nxënës të shkollave dhe një intervistë me mësues që përfshinte mësues nga të dyja shkollat. Ai synonte të nxirrte opinione për mënyrën e tyre të krijimit të më shumë aktiviteteve dhe rezultateve për nxënësit. Gjithashtu, u bënë vëzhgime në klasë lidhur me reagimet e nxënësve dhe atmosferën në klasë gjatë ndërveprimit dhe mënyrën më të mirë për të gjetur një zgjidhje për një problem apo detyrë. Rezultatet e këtij studimi treguan se ka shume dallime, por jo edhe shum ngjashmeri tek nxenesit e shkolles fillore dhe asaj te mesme.
